What's your condition?
Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. (Ephesians 6:11)
The Navy SEALs...[use a] color-coded system...to indicate levels of combat readiness. Each level has a parallel in spiritual warfare.
Condition White: The soldier is relaxed and daydreaming, unaware of his surroundings. (Christian...easy prey for Satan.) Condition Yellow: The soldier is relaxed physically but alert mentally. (Believer...may sense trouble coming but...not ready to confront it.) Condition Orange: The soldier is physically prepared, mentally alert, and ready to fight. (Believer...has on the full armor of God.) Condition Red: [Again,] the soldier is ready to fight. The difference is experience. (Battle-seasoned Christian knows quickly what to do because of his experience and familiarity with Scripture.)
