Welcome His approach
Do not be like the horse or like the mule... which must be harnessed with bit and bridle. (Psalm 32:9)
"This is a brand-new horse," my sister-in-law said as she stood next to the mare who had bucked her off several weeks before... "Before a skilled trainer had spent time with the horse, it's attitude was, 'Go away; don't bother me.' Now, when I approach her, it's as if she's saying, 'What would you like me to do?' I don't know how the trainer did it, but my horse has a whole new outlook on life."
When we are yielded to God, we welcome His approach. There is no need for the spiritual bit and bridle when we serve Him from the heart.
