Know His way

When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then You knew my path. (Psalm 142:3)

A tourist was being shown [an old English castle]. He admired the...valuable art treasures. Then he noticed a...taspestry...[with an] irregular pattern...and knotted threads. The guide said, "That's actually the most beautiful piece of art in the castle, but we regularly turn its face to the wall to protect the delicate colors from the light." Carefully turning [it] over, he showed the tourist the most exquisite tapestry he had ever seen....

Sometimes God in His wisdom turns the tapestry of our lives so that all their beautiful colors and pleasing patterns are hidden from view.... Too much sunlight of carefree days would...ruin His design. In His time, the beauty and symmetry of His purposes will again be evident.
